It's great to be back out on the streets of Hong Kong again, and such a pleasure to capture this lovely family on a very HOT and sticky morning.
It's the time of year when people prepare to say a very fond farewell to these wonderful colourful streets of our home from home. With this in mind, some lovely friends (who I captured a couple of years ago) of this gorgeous family treated them to a very special parting gift. There's so much colour and vibrancy, in every sense, when you mooch around the streets of Central. With such busy lives we often don't see it, but if we stop and look around, the walls, floors and roofs, and everything inbetween, are BURSTING with colour. And when you see it, you can't help but smile. Even when its the stickiest, hottest morning EVER!!!
I Love this neighbourhood, and it was definitely one of Mum and Dads favourites too. And it's not hard to see why.
Its an absolute wonderful assault on the senses. With colour, hustle and bustle, amazing art, traditional and modern, all merged into one (and a plethora of taxis... only when we didn't need one). All things that we love about this amazing place.
Thank you for guys for such a fun morning around the streets we all love. All the very best with your next adventure. I hope these images help bring back some lovely memories.
