After capturing his sisters party and his cake smash session just a month before, I was definitely looking forward to baby K's Jungle themed first birthday party. This one was going to be BIG and pretty special.
With 130+ guests to entertain it definitely wasn't going to be calm and sedate. Anything but!!
This was one of the occasions where time flew there was so much fun stuff going on.
The hugely entertaining guys from Drum-Jam got everyone banging out some awesome rhythms and dancing as if nobody was watching. Both adults and children loved beating the drums. It must have sounded like the sky was falling in from downstairs.. it was LOUD!!
And as if that wasn't high energy enough, there was plenty more dancing to be done when the Zumba beats started up. The concentration was intense and the speed of the moves even more so. It definitely gave the whole crowd a great work out and provided bags of smiles from everyone.
It all proved a little too much for Daddy as he rather gamely dressed up as a tropical bird for the entire Zumba routine.
